Schedule venues confirmed for Super 4 stages of Asia Cup 2023 Pakistan
As the four teams qualified for the next stage of the regional competitors, the Super 4 stages of the ongoing Asia Cup are scheduled to start on Wednesday. Co-host Sri Lanka attacked into the Super 4 round of the tournament after an exciting win over Afghanistan on Tuesday
Sri Lanka and Bangladesh are the two teams from Group B who have now won the last two positions after the longtime competition between Pakistan and India having qualified from Group A for the Super 4 stage.
To decide who is playing in the one-off final in Colombo on September 17, the four teams will now play three more matches during the Super 4 stage of the competition.
At the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Pakistan will play host to Bangladesh to kick off the Super 4 tournament. On September 9, Bangladesh will play Sri Lanka at R. Premdasa Stadium.
At the R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo, the second tournament comes across between India and Pakistan decided to play on September 10. Two days later, on September 12, Rohit Sharma’s team will play Sri Lanka there.
On September 13, Sri Lanka will play Pakistan in Colombo for what is expected to be an important match. India and Bangladesh will play in the final Super 4 match on September 15.
One of the six Super Four games will be played in Lahore, with the other five playing place in Colombo. The Super 4 stage’s top two teams will face play in the final on September 17 at R Premadasa Stadium in Colombo.
