The latest MRF Tyres ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings update sees major movements at the back of some exceptional performances.

Mohammed Siraj's rampage in Colombo, which saw him dispatch Sri Lanka for 50 runs, has propelled him to the top of the MRF Tyres ICC Men's ODI Bowling Rankings. The Asia Cup-winning stint of 6/21 has restored him to the No.1 spot, which he held until March 2023, when he was displaced by Josh Hazlewood.

Siraj finished with 10 wickets at an average of 12.2 in the tournament. This helped him jump eight spots in the latest ranking update and overtake the likes of Hazlewood, Trent Boult, Rashid Khan, and Mitchell Starc.
Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Rashid of Afghanistan increased their rankings to Nos. 4 and 5, respectively. They were the only others to enter the top ten.
Outside of that area, South African Keshav Maharaj showed significant progress after returning from injury.
After losing the first two games, Maharaj helped the Proteas become only the fifth team in history to win a five-match ODI series. The left-arm spinner's 4-33 in the fifth ODI earned him eight wickets in the series at 16.87 apiece and an economy rate of only 4.07 per over. He is presently ranked 15th, ten places higher than his previous career high.
Significant improvements were also seen in the MRF Tyres ICC Men's ODI Batting Rankings. South Africa's Heinrich Klaasen bludgeoned an all-time devastating ODI innings against Australia in the fourth ODI.
No one has scored more runs at a higher strike rate in an ODI innings than Klaasen's 174 at 209.64 in Centurion. It contributed to South Africa's 164-run victory and put Klaasen up 20 places in the Men's ODI Batting Rankings. He is now ranked ninth.

Dawid Malan was the highest run-scorer in England's ODI series against New Zealand, scoring 277 runs at an average of 92.33 and a strike rate of 105.72. The batsman, who spent 357 days at No. 1 in the ICC Men's T20I Batting Rankings earlier in his career, is now ranked 13th in the ODI Rankings, a career-high.
Ben Stokes, Malan's compatriot who marked his ODI comeback with a scorching 182 at The Oval, has risen to 36th in the ODI Batting Rankings.
