Three USA venues locked in for ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024

The International Cricket Council (ICC) have confirmed three major USA cities: Dallas, Miami and New York, as the venues for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024.

The United States has been chosen to host the T20 World Cup for the first time, with Grand Prairie in Dallas, Broward County in Florida, and Nassau County in New York as the venues. 

The United States and the West Indies were chosen as co-hosts for the world event by the ICC Board in November 2021. Following a careful study of numerous choices, the sites were chosen. 

To improve amenities for the future event, modular stadium solutions will be used. On the issuing of the required permission next month, an agreement has been reached for the construction of a 34,000-seat modular stadium in Eisenhower Park, a purpose-built sports and events park in Nassau County, New York.

Subject to final agreement, modular stadium solutions will extend seating, media, and premium hospitality facilities in Grand Prairie and Broward County. Geoff Allardice, Chief Executive of the International Cricket Council, was overjoyed to announce the locations for the largest-ever T20 World Cup.

The United States is a strategically vital market for us, and these venues provide us with a fantastic opportunity to make a statement in the world's largest sports market."

He also stated that in the United States, there is a growing awareness of cricket's vast popularity and its potential to connect disparate populations. 

"We looked into a number of potential venue options across the country, and we were incredibly encouraged by the enthusiasm the event generated among prospective hosts, reinforcing the growing awareness of cricket's massive fanbase and its power to unite diverse communities."
